Scott Ritcher

The only things standing in the way of the common compassion required to create a universal healthcare system are greed and indifference.

We don't need to wait for the federal government to get its act together. There are entire countries smaller and larger than Kentucky who provide universal coverage for their citizens.

With a statewide health care program, Kentucky would have a competitive edge and a standard of living no other state could match.

Who wouldn't want to move here to raise their family? What company wouldn't want to move their jobs here because they wouldn't have to provide coverage for their employees?

Not taking care of people because they're poor is unethical and immoral. People without money are the ones we should be taking care of the most.
